Shoulder Pain

Do you have shoulder pain? Chances are most of your shoulder pain is a result of the bicep tendon. Think of your bicep tendon as the fire alarm of the shoulder. It’s one of only two muscles in the entire body where the tendon goes through a joint capsule. Shoulder dysfunction is going to irritate the bicep tendon within the shoulder capsule and result in shoulder pain. The real problem is likely the result of either faulty bio-mechanics, a lack of nerve communication from the neck or both. Poor shoulder function can lead to several named conditions including rotator cuff impingement, labral cartilage tears, and bursitis to name a few. Pain is a sign that something is wrong with the shoulder.

Don’t settle for a diagnosis of “Bicep Tendonitis” or “bursitis”. Doing so would be like focusing on the beeping from the smoke alarm and not looking for the fire. Make sure you get your shoulder evaluated from a professional so you can uncover the real culprit. We want to be the most thorough doctor you’ve ever seen. That is why we spend one full hour during your initial evaluation to determine the root cause of your condition.
